‘FRASIER' ADDS HARRIET SAMSON HARRIS, REPRISING HER AGENT ROLE, AND RACHEL BLOOM TO SEASON 2 GUEST CAST (EXCLUSIVE)

Another "Frasier" alum is about to return to the series' new revival: Harriet Samson Harris, who originally played Frasier Crane's agent, Bebe Glazer, is back for a guest role in Season 2. Joining her will be "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" star Rachel Bloom, who will play Bebe's daughter, Phoebe Glazer.

As described by the show, the "delightfully devilish Bebe Glazer, one of the show's most iconic characters," is "known for her dramatic flair and outrageous Machiavellian maneuvers. Bebe will stop at nothing to get what she wants." As for Phoebe, "having inherited her mother's indomitable charm, Phoebe boasts a magnetic personality as well as a taste for the finer things."

Harris appeared in 11 episodes of the original "Frasier" over the course of its 11-season run, starting with the Season 1 episode "Selling Out." She most recently earned an Emmy nom for guest starring on "Hacks" and is next in the feature "Americana" and limited series "Long Bright River." She's also known for roles on series like "Desperate Housewives" and "American Horror Story," as well as films like "Licorice Pizza."

Bloom, who earned an Emmy for original music and lyrics, as well as a Golden Globe for best comedy/musical actress for "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend," has recently been seen in "Julia" and "Reboot," as well as the Netflix films "Your Place or Mine" and "The School for Good and Evil."

Harris joins Dan Butler, Edward Hibbert and Peri Gilpin as original "Frasier" alums who have returned to appear on the revival. Gilpin is back this season to reprise her role as Frasier's former radio producer, Roz, as seen in the show's original 1993-2004 run. (Gilpin also appeared on the current revival's Season 1 finale.) Butler returns as Bulldog - the sports host at Frasier's old radio station, while Hibbert guests as his O.G. character Gil Chesterton.

Besides Bloom, other new faces guesting this season on "Frasier" include Amy Sedaris, who is set to appear as Dr. "Doc" Stathos, described as "a municipal therapist with a down home, scattered veneer. She works with the firefighters at Freddy's firehouse and is also a big fan of Frasier Crane from his old TV talk show." Patricia Heaton is on board to play the character of Holly.

Also, Yvette Nicole Brown has signed on to appear as Monica, Olivia's sister, described as part haughty professor, part Nancy Drew, the brilliant, biting, and delightfully deadpan Monica is Olivia's perfect older sister. She has everything Olivia has and everything Olivia wants – and never misses a chance to remind her."

And as Variety first reported, Kelsey Grammer's daughter Greer will play Alice, Roz's daughter, described as "now in her late twenties, friendly, outgoing Alice has inherited more than some of her mother Roz's free-spirited ways. Having just moved to Providence to study architecture, Alice is eager to catch up with Frasier's son Freddy-and complicate whatever romantic plans he may have."

"Frasier" is mid-way through production on Season 2 at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. Besides Grammer, who has returned in the titular role, the series stars Jack Cutmore-Scott as Freddy, Frasier's son; Nicholas Lyndhurst as Alan, Frasier's old college buddy turned university professor; Toks Olagundoye as Olivia, Alan's colleague and head of the university's psychology department; Jess Salgueiro as Eve, Frasier and Freddy's neighbor; and Anders Keith as David, Frasier's nephew.

James Burrows is back to direct two episodes in season two. The "Frasier" revival comes from exec producers Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli, as well as Kelsey Grammer, Tom Russo and Jordan McMahon. The series comes from CBS Studios in association with Grammer's Grammnet NH Productions.

Harris is repped by BRS/Gage Talent Agency. Bloom is repped at Sugar23, WME and Ginsburg Daniel Kallis.
