ELITE SEASON 8: NETFLIX DROPS TRAILER FOR FINAL EPISODES - GET RELEASE DATE

The hallways of Las Encinas will close on Friday, July 26, when Elite’s eighth and final season premieres on Netflix.

The Spanish teen drama’s swan song will feature the return of original cast member Mina el Hammani, who played Nadia during the show’s first three seasons. In the Season 3 finale, Nadia moved to New York with Lu for university, but promised her boyfriend Guzmán that she would come back for him. While the couple tried to make a long-distance relationship work in the Elite Short Stories, the strain of it ultimately led Nadia and Guzmán to break up early in Season 4. (Guzmán then left Las Encinas with his friend Ander at the end of Season 4.)

Meanwhile, el Hammani's TV brother Omar Ayuso, who portrayed Omar during Seasons 1-5, reprised his role in the most recent seventh season.

The final season will welcome newcomers Ane Rot (Killer Book Club) and Nuno Gallego (UPA Next) to the ensemble.

“We ended on a high note,” series creator Carlos Montero said following the final-season announcement in October 2023. “Jaime [Vaca, co-showrunner for Season 7], Netflix and I thought it was time to end it. I say this with great regret because it’s been several incredible years in which I’ve met wonderful actors, we’ve worked with all the directors we wanted to work with… Élite changed everyone’s life.”
